"Islamic Republic of Pakistan" is a developing country in South Asia that was established on the basis of Islam and appeared on the map of this world on 14th August-1947.Pakistan is home to five provinces namely-Punjab,Balochistan,Sindh,Khyber Pukhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan.With Balochistan being the largest province by area and Punjab being the most populated one. This country was usually not treated as a tourist attraction because of its war history but as the peace emerged in the area, this beautiful country gained the attention of the world as one of the top most beautiful countries in the world.

Pakistan is an excellent example of diversified cultural society based on the same (Islamic) Theme .Although it has historical remnants which were built ,owned and attributed to Non-Muslim Rulers but most of the historical spots are Muslim Architecture.
Heritage Sites: Thanks to its long standing history before and after independence ,Pakistan accquires a number of historical buildings,monuments and Forts as its proud assets.Some of these include Katas Raj Temple,Lahore Fort,and Shalimar Bagh etc. Shrines and Mosques: Pakistan being an Islamic state stands proud of its Reflections of Islamic cultura.There are shrines in each province and the name of the province can be guessed by the architecture of the buildings . Multan is referred as the 'City of Saints' because of its possession of a large number of Mosques and historical Buildings from 17th and 18th century.
Ethnic groups and languages:Pakistan is divided into a number of ethnic groups within its population.with every group having its own traditions and code of life,some of the majorities have their own languages and dress codes as well.Some of the ethnic groups in Pakistan are Punjabi,Sindhi ,Balochi,Pashtun,Kalash people,Mahajor ,Bangalis,Kashmiris,Saraiki and Hazara etc.
To this day roughly 75 languages are spoken in Pakistan,out of which 65 are thought to be native and other 10 including Urdu-The national language of Pakistan ,as well have been introduced by invaders.One of the provinces named-Gilgit Baltistan alone have around 30 languages spoken on its land.Some of the languages like Punjabi,Urdu,Saraiki etc are dominant having majority of the speakers while as many as 8 languages including Gameli,Ushojo etc are considered endangered.
Food: Just like every other country whether great or greater Pakistan has its own diversity of food which are both native and exotic.Pakistan reflects the livelliness of its people in the vast variety of cuisine available,with every province having different taste preferences and specific dishes.Punjab and Sindh being spice lovers While others are wise enough to keep food mildly spicy.And pople of Kalash Being overly obsessed with dry fruits-e.g Walnuts(on a lighter note).
on a slight serious note...Almost all the traditional recipes of Pakistan are shared with its neighbours so they can't expect anything different here. Landscapes
Pakistan may not have Paradise beaches like central Asian countries ,But other than this It has all that is needed to quench wanderer's thirst.Pakistan is blessed with everything from Lakes and Valleys to Deserts and plains.Pakistan is entitled to have World's second largest plains -Deosai Planes.It also acquires world's highest polo ground -Shandur polo ground.Pakistan has world's second largest peak -Mount Godwin Austen (K2).Gilgit Baltistan and KPK are famous for stunning Valleys while Sindh and Balochistan offer deserts -which may not be considered an attraction.Punjab on the other hand is enjoyable for lush green fields.Some of the natural attractions of pakistan are following.
Evolving Society
The country being under the influence of outside world is rapidly evolving into a far different country than it was on the day of independence.Everything from lifestyle to daily life preferences are constantly evolving.Pakistan is primarily an Agricultural country but in recent years,it has seen immense urbanization.With the growth of modern life and increasing contact with outside world,people are observing changes in society and individual mentality as well.......For instance the young generation is adopting westren dress code,people are having a more open attitude towards the role of women in the society,Music preferences are diverting from the traditional 'Qawali' to the various generes of music ,wearing of veil by females is not stressed a lot in big cities....

What a treat to read about your adventure in beautiful Pakistan, its very informative and detailed…it is an amazing and diverse country with so much to offer in terms of culture, food, hospitality and landscapes and above all quite untouched by travelers.
